My World Ambassadors started with a simple observation: the most vibrant, talented, and deeply connected communities are often the least visible to the world just outside of them.
Restaurants, bakeries, salons, houses of worship, cultural events, and community organizations deserve to be discovered. The professionals, creatives, and leaders doing the work of connecting their neighbors deserve to be recognized. And the people who already know — the ones who always have the best recommendation, the next event, the trusted referral — deserve a platform that supports and celebrates them.
That’s what My World Ambassadors is. A platform built for and by the community — with real people at the center of it. Any culture. Any city. Any community ready to be seen.
How It Works
The platform behind the people
My World Ambassadors connects communities through three pillars:
- comeseemyworld.com — A public directory of community-owned businesses, events, and organizations. Free to list. Easy to find. Open to every culture and every city.
- The Ambassador Program — A network of trusted community members who serve as the on-the-ground bridge between local businesses and the platform. You introduce us; we do the rest.
- Community Spotlights — Articles, videos, and social content that celebrate local culture, food, faith, and achievement. Ambassadors are the stars.
Ambassadors are not employees. They’re community members who care — and we give them a platform, a public profile, and real recognition for the work they’re already doing.

My World Ambassadors is built and operated by R&L Ames, a Dallas-based creative and technology company with a deep belief in the power of cultural community.
Rafael and Liz Ames created this platform because they know firsthand how much richness exists inside a community — and how little of it gets seen by the world just outside. They built My World Ambassadors to change that, one community at a time.
R&L Ames handles all the technology, marketing, and platform operations so ambassadors can focus on what they do best: being the trusted voice of their community.
